CHRIS Project Team Members, Roles, and Responsibilities

 

·         ·         Executive Committee Meet regularly to monitor project progress, issue guidance as requested by the project team, keep the project’s focus on its approved scope, resolve those issues that the project team cannot resolve, report back to the Mayor’s office with progress and other issues. Current members are:

 

 Gary Cavin, Director – Department of Technology

 Chet Christie, Director – Department of Human Resources

 Hugh Dorrian, City Auditor

 Barbara McGrath, Executive Director – Civil Service Commission  

 Joel Taylor, Director – Department of Finance and Management

 

·         Project/Executive Sponsor Monitors and communicates project performance and issue resolution. Serves as a liaison between the project decision team/Steering Committee and Project manager.

·         Steering Committee- Establishes policies and procedures, participates in setting the goals and scope of the project and participates in meetings to provide overall guidance for strategic direction, and monitors project progress.  Current members are:

  Misti Cole, COC Project Manager

  Jacquilla Bass – Department of Human Resources

  Tim Carroll – City Auditor’s Office/Central Payroll

  Greg Dukes – Department of Technology

  Michael Eccard, - Civil Service Commission

  Paula Hall – Department of Technology

  Karen Hudson – Department of Human Resources

  Dana Liming – Department of Human Resources

  Tom Noorkah – City Auditor

·         Subject Matter Experts - Participates in tasks such as, project team training, design/configuration activities, testing, and production support as deemed necessary by the Lawson Project Manager and the City of Columbus Project Manager. Subject Matter Experts may be Application Leads in their respective areas of expertise (i.e. Payroll Lead, Benefits Lead, etc.) and other supporting personnel from the various departments. Have a good working knowledge of how City of Columbus processes are performed and understand the reasons for the current processes.  Current SME’s include:

      Renee Brandon – Department of Human Resources

      Rick Brewer – Department of Human Resources

      Bonnie Buck – City Auditor’s Office/Central Payroll

      Rebecca Cox – City Auditor’s Office/Central Payroll

      Alice Evans – Department of Human Resources

      Denise Nappier - Civil Service Commission

      Mary Raphael – City Auditor’s Office/Central Payroll

      Tammy Rollins - Civil Service Commission

      Winn Sapp – Department of Human Resources   

 ·      DoT Work Team - Completes all tasks relating to hardware, software installation, programming and overall technical and system related issues. Members of the ITS Work Team includes:

    Craig Derksen – Department of Technology

    Jesse Francis, Jr. – Department of Technology

    Paul Newman, Jr. – Department of Technology

    Dennis Overholt – Department of Technology

    Flor Rafiee – Department of Technology
