Project Team Members, Roles, and Responsibilities

Executive Committee –
Meet regularly
to monitor project progress, issue guidance as requested by the
project team, keep the project’s focus on its approved scope,
resolve those issues that the project team cannot resolve,
report back to the Mayor’s office with progress and other
issues. Current members are:

Project/Executive Sponsor –
Monitors and
communicates project performance and issue resolution. Serves as
a liaison between the project decision team/Steering Committee
and Project manager.

policies and procedures, participates
in setting the goals and scope of the project and
participates in meetings to provide overall guidance for
strategic direction, and monitors project progress.

Subject Matter Experts

Participates in tasks such as, project team training,
design/configuration activities, testing, and production support
as deemed necessary by the Lawson Project Manager and the City
of Columbus Project Manager. Subject Matter Experts may be
Application Leads in their respective areas of expertise (i.e.
Payroll Lead, Benefits Lead, etc.) and other supporting
personnel from the various departments. Have a good working
knowledge of how City of Columbus processes are performed and
understand the reasons for the current processes.
